These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Deovate World website and any website, software, or digital marketing services you engage us to deliver. Deovate World is based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, and operates under the laws of India. By browsing our website, submitting an enquiry, or signing off on a project proposal, you agree to the terms below. If you're engaging us for a specific project, these general terms sit alongside the scope, pricing, and timeline agreed in your individual proposal or contract - where the two conflict, your signed proposal takes priority.
By accessing our website, submitting a project enquiry, or engaging Deovate World for any service, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent, and that you're at least eighteen years old. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our website or services, and let us know so we can address your concerns directly.
Deovate World provides website design and development, custom software development, mobile app development, digital marketing including SEO and paid ads, branding, and related digital services. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost for any project are set out in a separate written proposal or agreement specific to that engagement, which forms part of these terms once both parties confirm it in writing or by email.
To deliver your project on time and to the expected standard, we rely on you to provide accurate project information, timely feedback, and any content, credentials, or assets we ask for. Delays in receiving what we need from you, such as approvals, content, or account access, will typically push back the delivery timeline by a corresponding amount, and we aren't responsible for missed deadlines caused by this.
Payment terms, including deposit amount, milestone payments, and final balance, are set out in your project proposal or invoice, and are due by the dates specified there unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work typically begins only once the agreed deposit has been received, and completed deliverables, source files, or hosting access will be withheld until any outstanding balance is settled in full. Late payments may result in a reasonable pause in support or project continuation until the account is brought current.
Once a project is paid for in full, ownership of the final deliverables, such as the website, application, or creative assets built specifically for you, transfers to you, except for any third-party tools, plugins, stock assets, or licensed software used in the build, which remain governed by their own licenses. Until final payment is received, Deovate World retains ownership of all work produced. We also reserve the right to showcase completed public-facing work in our own portfolio and marketing materials, unless you've asked us in writing to keep it confidential.
Timelines quoted in a proposal are estimates based on the scope agreed and your timely cooperation, not fixed guarantees, since software and web projects often surface unexpected technical or content-related delays. We'll flag any timeline changes as soon as we're aware of them and work with you to adjust the plan, rather than let a delay go unmentioned until the deadline arrives.
Each project proposal specifies a set number of revision rounds included in the price. Requests that fall within the originally agreed scope are handled as part of that process; requests that expand the scope, such as new pages, extra features, or a different design direction after approval, are treated as a change request and quoted separately before we proceed. This keeps timelines and budgets predictable for both sides rather than letting scope quietly expand unpaid.
Any business information, credentials, or data you share with us during a project is treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of delivering your work. We expect the same in return - any proprietary process, pricing, or internal tool we share with you as part of a project shouldn't be redistributed or resold without our written consent.
We build every project with care, but we can't guarantee that any website, application, or marketing campaign will be completely free of bugs, achieve a specific ranking or sales result, or remain unaffected by third-party platform changes outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, Deovate World's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific project in question, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or business opportunities.
Many of our projects rely on third-party platforms, such as hosting providers, payment gateways, CMS platforms, and marketing tools, that operate under their own terms and pricing, which can change independently of us. We'll always recommend tools we trust, but we aren't responsible for outages, price changes, or policy changes made by these third parties after your project goes live.
Either party can end an ongoing project agreement with written notice, though any work completed and expenses incurred up to that point remain payable. If you terminate a project partway through, deliverables completed so far will be handed over once outstanding payment for that stage is settled. We reserve the right to pause or end a project if payment is significantly overdue or if we reasonably believe the working relationship has become untenable.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them or from a project agreement will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between both parties. If that doesn't resolve things, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ludhiana, Punjab.
We may revise these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in how we operate or in applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date, and for active projects, any term that materially affects your agreement will be communicated to you directly rather than only updated silently here.
